Perform the following steps:

A. Click the Start button, then type "Performance Information and Tools" in the search boxon the Start menu.

4. Once the Indexing Options window opens, you will see a list of locations covered by the index service Windows.

6. Specify the drive and folder you want to be features of the index and remove the check mark in front of the site who do not want to use it.

7. Click the "Advanced" tab and select the File Type to specify the type of files you wantincluded in the index feature.

8. Remove the check mark in front of the file types that are included in the index feature.Under conditions of many files that are included in the list of indexes reduced PCperformance will increase.

9. Back to the Index Settings tab in the Advanced Options Troubleshooting section, click the "Rebuild" to clean up the existing index and stack with the new index.

10. If everything is complete, press OK to close the Advanced Options window and click the "Close" to activate the change.
